The World Sinology Council of Beijing Language and Culture University was established in Beijing on July 20, 2022, and the executive body of the council, the World Sinology Center, was established in Qingdao on August 8. At present, the World Council of Sinologists has brought together 115 outstanding Sinologists and translators from 61 countries, covering the top ten language and cultural regions along the “Belt and Road” including Arabic, Spanish, Russian, French, and Persian. In order to further promote the development of sinology and Chinese studies, and strengthen the interaction and exchange of experts from China and Mongolia, Beijing Language and Culture University, jointly with the Nepal-China Friendship Forum, intends to hold the establishment ceremony of the Council of Sinologists- Nepal, aiming at creating a good start for the future cooperation between the two countries in the cultural field.
