Building a community of share future between China and South Asia

The People’s Republic of China has always placed an emphasis on unity, concerted action and reciprocal cooperation, and they support the noble ideal that “The world belongs to all.” Chinese President Xi Jinping has always understood the laws of global development, thought deeply about the future and destiny of humanity, and put forth the idea of creating a community with a shared future for mankind with the aim of preserving global peace and promoting common development.

China has now engaged in frequent political, economic, and social exchanges with its neighboring nations. A progress to “a community with a shared future for mankind.” The development of “a community with a shared future” is largely dependent on shared economic gain. For a long time, the South Asian region has been the most vibrant and enticing economic hub in the world. Building a community with a shared future is something China places a lot of emphasis on. The future of Asia and the world depends on the mutual collaboration between South Asian and China. New obstacles to the region’s development include a COVID-19 pandemic, increased rivalry between major nations and many more. In this regard, China has given emphasis to the concept of creating a community with a shared future in its southern neighboring region.

Acknowledging one another and adhering to the fundamental principles of international relations, working together for win-win outcomes and pursuing a course of peace and stability, watching out for one another and honoring the ideals of peace and harmony, integrity, mutual cooperation, and social inclusion, upholding inclusiveness and mutual learning, and jointly promoting open regionalism are all ways to encourage the concept of a shared future.

The partnership can be strengthened by expanding on Belt and Road cooperation. The BRI has evolved into a forum for the region to work together toward a common future. The Belt and Road Initiative’s implementation was cited as the avenue for diplomatic success at the 19th Party Congress. China has carried out the Initiative for Belt and Road Partnership on COVID-19 Vaccine, continues to pursue innovation-driven development, improve connectivity in the region, and more. China must coordinate South Asian nations to maximize their individual benefits from BRI cooperation and realize common and inclusive development in order to promote the creation of a South Asian community with a shared future.

China should prioritize win-win and reciprocal cooperation with South Asian nations more in its efforts to realize this vision. It is necessary to translate the concept of a human community with a shared future into an understandable and practical policy with discourse that reflects common practice, most countries’ willingness to change, and advancements in global governance.

China is taking on an increasing number of obligations on the world stage as its overall national strength keeps growing. China sees international cooperation as a key step in creating new international relations and a human community dedicated to a common future. Nepal has long been a friendly neighbor of China in South Asia. In the three areas of fostering a community of shared future between Nepal and China, upholding righteous views of rightness and financial gains, and China’s neighborhood diplomacy, China has given Nepal international aid and bolstered international cooperation. China is actively looking into new forms of international cooperation during this process. With the new idea of international cooperation, China is directing global cooperation. China and Nepal are facing new opportunities and circumstances as they work to strengthen their international cooperation.

China’s development is indissolubly linked to the development of the rest of the world, and vice versa. We all share a common future as a community, including China. China is willing to collaborate with other nations, particularly those in South Asia, to advance the development of new kinds of international relations and a human community with a shared future in order to jointly create a better world.

The model for the new kind of international relations, which emphasize mutual respect and win-win cooperation, is China and South Asia, which have always been good neighbors, friends, and partners.
